The Buckingham episcopal area extends from north of Milton Keynes all the way south through Buckinghamshire to Slough. It includes sparsely populated rural communities, county towns and the commuter belt on the fringes of the capital.
The Rt Revd Canon Dave Bull was consecrated as the Bishop of Buckingham at a service in Canterbury Cathedral in February 2025.
The Buckingham area is divided into ten deaneries: Amersham, Aylesbury, Buckingham, Burnham & Slough, Claydon, Milton Keynes, Mursley, Newport, Wendover and Wycombe.

The Rt Revd Dave Bull was consecrated as Bishop of Buckingham in February 2025. He was previously the Rector of the 4 U Team in Marlow.

Archdeacon of Buckingham
The Venerable Guy Elsmore has served as Archdeacon since 2016. Guy worked for many years as an on-call assistant chaplain at Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
Chris Bull
Associate Archdeacon - Buckingham
The Revd Canon Chris Bull was vicar of Flackwell Heath for 25 years, area dean of High Wycombe and chaplain to Bucks Royal British Legion before becoming Associate Archdeacon.
